21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
In these verses, God promises to gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered and bring them back to their own land. He also foretells the reunification of the former kingdoms of Israel and Judah, which will become one nation under a single King.
This prophecy was partially fulfilled with the gradual return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the rebirth of the State of Israel in 1948. Its complete fulfillment will take place when Jesus Christ returns to establish His Millennial Kingdom. At that time, Israel will be fully reunited, spiritually restored, and ruled by its Messiah in lasting peace.
These verses demonstrate God’s faithfulness to His promises to Israel. The regathering of the Jewish people to their land is a major step in His prophetic plan, while the reign of Jesus Christ during the Millennium will bring this prophecy to its complete fulfillment.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
In this passage, Jesus foretells several signs that will characterize the last days: wars, conflicts between nations, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. He makes it clear, however, that although these events signal the approach of the end, they do not yet mark the completion of God’s prophetic plan.
This prophecy has not yet been fully fulfilled. According to the prophetic chronology presented on this website, these events will characterize the period leading up to the Tribulation. After the invasion of Gog and Magog, and then the confirmation of the seven-year covenant foretold in Daniel 9:27, these signs will intensify before the judgments of the Tribulation begin, when wars, famines, pestilences, and worldwide upheavals will reach an unprecedented scale.
This passage reminds us that the events of the last days will unfold progressively. The conflicts and disasters foretold by Jesus are the early signs that God’s prophetic plan is entering its final phase, preparing the way for the judgments that will culminate in the glorious return of Jesus Christ.
« Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; »
In this verse, Paul warns that in the latter times, some people will abandon the true faith and follow deceiving spirits and doctrines of devils. He foretells a great apostasy, characterized by the rejection of biblical truth in favor of false teachings that oppose God’s Word.
This prophecy is currently being fulfilled. Since the first century, many false teachings have arisen, but this apostasy will continue to increase as the last days progress. It will ultimately prepare the world to accept the religious deception of the Antichrist during the Tribulation.
This verse reminds believers to remain firmly grounded in the Word of God. In the face of growing spiritual deception, Christians are called to test every teaching by the Scriptures and remain faithful to Jesus Christ.
« And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. »
In this verse, Jesus encourages His disciples not to fear when the prophetic events of the last days begin to unfold. Instead, they are to look up with hope, because their redemption is drawing near.
This prophecy has not yet been fulfilled. According to the prophetic chronology presented on this website, after the invasion of Gog and Magog and the confirmation of the seven-year covenant foretold in Daniel 9:27, the events of the last days will begin to unfold rapidly. For the Church, deliverance will come through the Rapture, before the judgments of the Tribulation begin.
This verse is a message of hope for believers. In the midst of the upheavals foretold by Jesus, Christians are reminded that God’s prophetic plan leads to the deliverance of those who belong to Jesus Christ. The signs of the last days are therefore not a reason for despair, but an encouragement to look forward with confidence to the fulfillment of His promises.
