The Book of Ezekiel is one of the most remarkable prophetic books in the Bible. Written in the sixth century BC while Ezekiel was living in exile in Babylon, it reveals God’s judgment on Israel and the nations, His promise to restore His people, and several key events that will take place in the end times.
Through extraordinary visions, God foretells the restoration of Israel, the famous vision of the Valley of Dry Bones, the future invasion of Gog and Magog, His supernatural deliverance of Israel, the future Temple, and the establishment of the Messiah’s Kingdom.
Many of Ezekiel’s prophecies have already been fulfilled, including the regathering of the Jewish people to their homeland. Others are still future and complement the prophecies found in Daniel, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the Book of Revelation.
The Book of Ezekiel reminds us that God is sovereign over history and that every promise He has made to Israel will be fulfilled exactly as He declared.

Ezekiel was both a priest and a prophet of God who was taken into exile in Babylon during the Babylonian captivity of Judah👇
Around 597 BC, he was deported from Jerusalem along with thousands of other Jews during King Nebuchadnezzar’s second invasion of Judah.
While living near the Chebar River, God called Ezekiel to become His prophet.
“The heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.”
Ezekiel 1:1
His mission was to warn Israel about the coming judgment while also proclaiming God’s future restoration of His people.
Through a series of powerful visions, God revealed to Ezekiel:
1) the judgment of Jerusalem
2) the judgment of the surrounding nations
3) Israel’s spiritual restoration
4) the regathering of the Jewish people to heir homeland
5) Gog and Magog
6) the future Temple
7) the Messiah’s Kingdom
Ezekiel’s ministry spans one of the most significant periods in biblical history and prepares readers for many of the end-times prophecies revealed later in Scripture.
Several of Ezekiel’s prophecies have already been fulfilled with remarkable accuracy👇
Ezekiel foretold that Jerusalem would be destroyed because of Israel’s rebellion against God.
This prophecy was fulfilled in 586 BC, when King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the First Temple.
Later, Ezekiel prophesied that God would gather the Jewish people from every nation and restore them to their own land.
“I will take you from among the nations… and bring you into your own land.”
Ezekiel 36:24
After nearly two thousand years of dispersion, this prophecy experienced a remarkable fulfillment with the rebirth of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948, followed by the return of millions of Jewish people from around the world.
The famous vision of the Valley of Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37) as a prophetic picture of Israel’s national restoration.
These fulfilled prophecies provide strong evidence that God’s remaining promises will also be fulfilled exactly as He has declared.
The Book of Ezekiel contains several major prophecies that many Bible students believe are still future👇
Among them is the war of Gog and Magog, during which a coalition of nations from the far north will invade Israel.
According to the prophetic interpretation presented throughout this website, Gog represents Russia, which will lead an alliance including:
1) Iran (Persia)
2) Turkey (Gomer and Beth Togarmah)
3) Libya (Put)
4) Sudan and Ethiopia (Cush)
God Himself will supernaturally intervene to destroy this invading coalition and demonstrate His power before all the nations.
Ezekiel also describes a future Temple in extraordinary detail throughout chapters 40 to 48.
Many teachers of biblical prophecy believe this Temple will exist during the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ, following His glorious Second Coming.
The book concludes with one of the Bible’s greatest promises:
“The name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.”
Ezekiel 48:35
This declaration points to the day when God will once again dwell among His people.
The Book of Ezekiel therefore reveals that despite judgment and worldwide conflict, God will faithfully fulfill every promise He has made to Israel and establish a Kingdom of peace, righteousness, and blessing under the reign of the Messiah

“And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army.”
In this prophecy, Ezekiel announces that a great coalition of nations will come from the north against Israel in the last days. This invasion will precede God’s supernatural intervention, as He delivers Israel and demonstrates His power before the nations.
“In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.”
In this prophetic vision, Ezekiel is taken by God to a very high mountain where he sees what appears to be a city. This vision introduces the revelation of the future Temple, which is associated with the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ, when God will establish His kingdom on the earth.
“It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.”
