📖  Revelation 7:14

« And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. »

In this verse, John learns that the great multitude standing before the throne of God is made up of those who placed their faith in Jesus Christ during the Great Tribulation. Despite the persecution and suffering they endured, they were saved because their sins were forgiven through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ.

This prophecy has not yet been fulfilled. According to the prophetic chronology presented on this website, it will be fulfilled during the Great Tribulation, when countless people will come to faith in Jesus Christ despite the persecution of the Antichrist. Many of them will be martyred for refusing to worship the Beast or receive his mark.

This verse demonstrates that even during the Great Tribulation, God will continue to offer salvation to all who turn to Jesus Christ. This great multitude is a testimony to God’s grace and to the power of the Lamb’s sacrifice, which cleanses everyone who places their faith in Him.

📖  Revelation 7:9

« After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; »

In this verse, John sees a vast multitude of believers from every nation, tribe, people, and language. Clothed in white robes, symbolizing their cleansing through the blood of Jesus Christ, they stand before the throne of God and worship the Lamb with joy and thanksgiving.

This vision takes place during the first half of the Tribulation, after the sealing of the 144,000 (Revelation 7:1-8). This great multitude represents those who place their faith in Jesus Christ during the Tribulation and are now in the presence of God. Many of them will have been martyred for refusing to deny their faith.

This verse shows that even in the midst of the Tribulation’s judgments, God will continue to offer salvation. Men and women from every part of the world will trust in Jesus Christ, demonstrating that His grace is available to all who turn to Him, even during the darkest period of human history.

📖  Revelation 13:7

« And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. »

In this verse, John reveals that the Antichrist will be given authority to persecute the believers who are on the earth during the Great Tribulation. Many will be imprisoned or put to death because they refuse to worship the Beast or receive the mark of the Beast (666).

The Antichrist will also exercise worldwide authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. His political and religious dominion will be unlike anything the world has ever seen, yet it will last only for the time that God has permitted.

This verse reminds us that, although the Antichrist appears to triumph for a time, his authority is temporary and remains under God’s sovereign control. Those who remain faithful to Jesus Christ, even at the cost of their lives, will ultimately share in His victory.

📖  2Corinthians 6:2

« For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. »

In this verse, Paul urges everyone not to delay their decision to follow Jesus Christ. He reminds us that God is offering salvation today to all who place their faith in His Son. This is the age of grace, when the forgiveness of sins and everlasting life are offered freely.

This promise is being fulfilled today, during the age of grace. After the Rapture of the Church, salvation will still be possible during the Tribulation, but it will come at a great cost. Those who refuse to worship the Antichrist or receive the mark of the Beast (666) will face severe persecution, and many will pay for their faithfulness to Jesus Christ with their lives.

This verse reminds us that now is the day of salvation. God invites everyone to receive Jesus Christ while His grace is freely offered. Responding to His call today allows believers to escape the terrible events of the Tribulation and have the assurance of everlasting life in the presence of God.
