The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is one of the most joyful and glorious events described in the Bible. After the Rapture of the Church, everyone who belongs to Jesus Christ will be gathered in heaven to celebrate the marriage of the Lamb.
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is presented as the Lamb of God, while the Church is described as His Bride. This beautiful picture illustrates the eternal union between Christ and all who have placed their faith in Him.
According to the pre-Tribulation understanding of Bible prophecy, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place after the Rapture of the Church, during the Great Tribulation on earth, and before the visible Second Coming of Jesus Christ at Armageddon.
This celebration marks the completion of God’s plan for His Church and prepares believers to return with Christ when He establishes His Millennial Kingdom.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb celebrates the eternal union between Jesus Christ and His Church👇
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is described as the Bridegroom, while all believers together form His Bride.
This imagery comes from the traditional Jewish wedding, in which a period of betrothal was followed by the bridegroom returning to receive his bride before the wedding celebration.
In the same way, after His resurrection Jesus ascended into heaven and promised that He would return for His people.
“I will come again and receive you to Myself.”
John 14:3
After the Rapture, the Church will be united with Christ in heaven to celebrate the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
“Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”
Revelation 19:9
This glorious event celebrates the everlasting relationship between Christ and everyone who belongs to Him.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place in heaven after the Rapture of the Church and before the visible Second Coming of Jesus Christ👇
The prophetic sequence is generally understood as follows:
2) The Judgment Seat of Christ, where believers receive their rewards.
3) The Marriage Supper of the Lamb in heaven.
4) The Great Tribulation on earth.
5) The glorious Second Coming of Jesus Christ with His saints.
While God’s judgments are being poured out on the earth, the Church will be with Christ in heaven.
When Jesus returns at Armageddon, His Bride will return with Him.
“The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”
Revelation 19:14
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb therefore takes place immediately before Christ’s glorious return to establish His Kingdom.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will include everyone who truly belongs to Jesus Christ👇
All believers who are taken in the Rapture will be part of the Bride of Christ.
Having received their glorified bodies, they will live forever with their Lord.
The Bible describes this event as a magnificent celebration filled with joy, worship, and victory.
“Let us be glad and rejoice… for the marriage of the Lamb has come.”
Revelation 19:7
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is more than a celebration—it marks the complete fulfillment of God’s plan for His Church.
Following this heavenly celebration, Jesus Christ will return with His redeemed people to defeat the Antichrist, establish His Millennial Kingdom, and fulfill every promise spoken by the prophets.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb reminds believers of their blessed hope: everyone who places their faith in Jesus Christ will one day be united with Him forever in perfect joy.

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
In this passage, Paul compares a husband’s love for his wife to the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ for His Church. Christ gave Himself to sanctify and prepare His Church as a pure and spotless Bride, ready for her eternal union with Him.
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.”
In this prophetic vision, John sees the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, celebrating the eternal union between Jesus Christ and His Church. The Bride, clothed in fine linen, clean and white, is ready to meet her Lord. This celebration precedes Christ’s glorious return and foreshadows the eternal joy of all who belong to Him.
“And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”
In this prophetic vision, John sees the armies of heaven accompanying Jesus Christ at His glorious return. Clothed in fine linen, white and clean, they represent the glorified saints and the heavenly hosts who follow the King of kings as He returns to establish His kingdom on the earth.
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” 👇
In this prophetic vision, John sees believers who remained faithful to Jesus Christ, refusing to worship the Beast or receive its mark. They are raised to life and reign with Christ for one thousand years.
