« And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. »
In this verse, Isaiah foretells a time when the nations will willingly come to Jerusalem to worship God and receive His instruction. Jesus Christ will reign from Zion, and His Word will be the standard for all nations. People from around the world will seek to learn God’s ways and walk in His paths.
This prophecy will be fulfilled during the Millennial Kingdom, when Jesus Christ reigns on the earth after His glorious return. Jerusalem will become the spiritual center of the world and the seat of His government, and the nations will come there to receive His teaching and righteous judgment.
This verse reveals the universal reign of Jesus Christ and the peace that will characterize His Millennial Kingdom. After centuries of conflict and rebellion, the nations will finally recognize His authority and live according to God’s righteousness and truth.
« And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. »

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
In this passage, John sees an angel seize Satan, also called the dragon, the old serpent, and the Devil. He is bound and thrown into the bottomless pit for one thousand years, so that he can no longer deceive the nations.
This prophecy will be fulfilled immediately after the glorious return of Jesus Christ and the defeat of the Antichrist at Armageddon. The binding of Satan will mark the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom, during which Jesus Christ will reign over the present earth, renewed and restored by God, in peace and righteousness, free from Satan’s deceptive influence.
This passage shows that Satan can act only within the limits set by God. His imprisonment will allow Jesus Christ to establish a reign of peace and justice on a restored earth before Satan is released for a short time at the end of the Millennium, according to God’s sovereign plan.
« The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. »
