📖  Revelation 15:2-4

2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

In this passage, John sees those who have gained victory over the beast, his image, and his mark. They stand before God and sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. Their victory shows that they remained faithful to God and to Jesus despite the persecution and pressure imposed by the beast.

These people are among those who will be saved during the Tribulation and who will refuse to submit to the beast's system. Their faithfulness may cost them their lives, but they will gain spiritual victory by refusing to deny Jesus.

Their song proclaims the greatness, justice, and holiness of God. They recognize that His judgments are righteous and declare that all nations will one day worship Him.

This scene leads directly into the seven bowls of God's wrath, which will now be poured out upon the earth. Those standing before God have already gained victory over the beast, while God's final judgments will still be carried out before the Glorious Return of Jesus.

📖  Revelation 15:1

« And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. »

In this verse, John sees seven angels entrusted with the seven last plagues, known as the seven bowls of God’s wrath. These judgments are the final outpouring of God’s wrath upon the earth before the glorious return of Jesus Christ.

This prophecy has not yet been fulfilled. It will be fulfilled near the end of the Great Tribulation, when the seven bowls of God’s wrath are poured out one after another upon the kingdom of the Antichrist. These judgments will complete God’s wrath against a world that has rejected Jesus Christ.

This verse marks the beginning of the final stage of God’s judgments. Following the seven seals and the seven trumpets, the seven bowls of God’s wrath will bring the Tribulation to its climax, preparing the way for the glorious return of Jesus Christ, who will destroy the Antichrist’s kingdom and establish His Millennial Kingdom on the earth.

📖  Revelation 15:7

« And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. »

In this verse, John sees one of the four living creatures giving the seven angels the seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God. These bowls contain the final judgments that God will pour out upon a world that has persistently rebelled against Him.

This will be the event that introduces the seven bowls of God’s wrath. The seven bowls will then be poured out during the Great Tribulation, bringing God’s final judgments before the glorious return of Jesus Christ.

This verse shows that God’s judgments are perfectly righteous and carried out according to His sovereign plan. The seven bowls will complete His judgment upon the kingdom of the Antichrist and prepare the way for the final victory of Jesus Christ, who will establish His Millennial Kingdom.

📖  Revelation 15:8

8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

In this verse, the temple is filled with smoke because of the glory and power of God. This impressive manifestation emphasizes God's holiness, majesty, and absolute authority as the seven final plagues are about to be poured out upon the earth.

The fact that no one can enter the temple until the seven plagues are fulfilled emphasizes the decisive and unavoidable nature of this final series of judgments. The seven bowls that follow represent God's final judgments before the events that will lead to the Glorious Return of Jesus.

This scene shows that the judgments that follow proceed directly from God's authority and justice. The glory filling the temple also emphasizes that God remains sovereign until His judgment is completely fulfilled.
